Michelle Bagnall
Chief Executive Officer
MBA (with Distinction), GAICD, FFin
Michelle is the Chief Executive Officer of Snow Star Credit Union and brings over 25 years of financial services experience in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining Snow Star Credit Union in February 2021, Michelle was CEO of RACQ Bank and held senior positions at Suncorp, National Australia Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Insurance Australia Group. She is driven by a deep respect for people and passionate about the powerful combination of people leadership, partnership and organisational competencies. Michelle is a member of FINSIA, a graduate of AICD and has completed an MBA (with Distinction). She has previously held Executive Director positions on the Boards of a superannuation trustee at Suncorp, and the Board of RACQ Financial Planning Pty Ltd. On a personal level, Michelle directs her energies toward issues related to women, education, equality, inclusion, and empowerment.
Adam Alsbury
Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer
B.Bus (Mkt), MBA, FAMI (CPM), FAICD, FAMI
Adam Alsbury joined Snow Star Credit Union in 2000 and has experience in marketing, business development, digital and business strategy in the software and financial services industries. He has over 20 years of service in emergency and community services in both a volunteer and professional capacity and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Life Saving Victoria. Adam completed his Masters of Business Administration at Melbourne Business School and is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, Instil and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
David Percival
Chief Financial Officer
B.Bus (Accounting), CPA, MBA, GAICD
David Percival joined Snow Star Credit Union in 2002 and has over 28 years experience within the financial services industry. He is responsible for leading the finance function which includes accounting, treasury, credit control and transaction operations. David has been a CPA for over 15 years and completed an MBA at Deakin University in 2005.
Emily McGrath
Acting Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary

Emily McGrath joined Snow Star Credit Union in 2004 and leads the Risk & Compliance team, she is also the Company Secretary. With over 30 years’ experience in the Banking sector across a range of Banking institutions Emily has a strong understanding of the risk and compliance environment as it applies to banking and in leading the risk and compliance team at Snow Star Credit Union she is responsible for developing and maintaining the systems and processes that support these frameworks. As Company Secretary, Emily works closely with the Board and all Company Officers to undertake company secretarial and governance tasks and to ensure compliance with Corporations Law, relevant ASIC and APRA requirements as well as coordinating the AGM and Director Elections.
Glenn Borg
Chief People & Culture Officer
B.Bus, CAHRI, GAICD
Glenn Borg joined Snow Star Credit Union in 2007. He leads the People & Culture function and has experience in human resources and people management, with particular strengths and expertise in employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, occupational health and safety and organisation development. His formal qualifications are supported by his membership of the Australian Human Resources Institute and Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Matthew Ricker
Chief Customer Officer
Bachelor of Economics (B Ec) and Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Matthew Ricker joined Snow Star Credit Union in 2018 and leads the Lending, Insurance, Financial Planning, Branches and the Member Contact Centre teams. With over 27 years’ experience at National Australia Bank, Matthew has a strong understanding of financial services. A customer-focused strategic thinker, Matthew focuses on developing a coaching and learning culture to enhance the customer experience, while driving business results.
Mark Thomson
Chief Technology Officer
MIT, Grad Cert IS, MAICD
Mark Thomson has managed the Information Technology function at Snow Star Credit Union since 2004. He has more than 20 years experience in the financial services sector in areas of Information Technology operations, digital technologies, business continuity, cyber security project management, risk management and strategic planning.
